Are you interested in exploring career options in the hospital setting, but not sure which specialty you would like to pursue? Whether you are interested in being a doctor, nurse, or medical technician, Advocate Condell Medical Center’s Penwasciz (pronounced “Pen-Wah-Zee”) program provides an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to learn first-hand about health careers. Students in this program are placed into clinical groups that participate in weekly 2-hour rotations where they can observe and work directly with medical professionals and patients in the medical/surgical, new life, respiratory, radiology, emergency, pharmacy, and cardiology units.
