LFHS Back to School 101: Registration
Process for 2010-2011
Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year at Lake Forest High School. We have had a busy summer preparing for another challenging and exciting year. Below are several items you should have received in the mail. Be on the look out for registration materials that will help to prepare for the opening of the school year:
Student PowerSchool account username and password will be included. Parent account information will come in September. Class of 2014 and new students' Outlook usernames and passwords are the same as their PowerSchool usernames and passwords. Returning students' usernames and passwords are unchanged from last year.
Schedule Change Requests
Students requesting a change in their schedule (who missed the July 29 deadline) may email or contact their counselor by phone (voicemail) as we are no longer accepting the Change Request Forms. Counselors return to LFHS on August 12 but will not be available for appointments. Please do not “drop in” to see them, as they will be addressing requests through email and/or by telephone. Email addresses and phone extensions can also be found here
Students and parents who requested a schedule change for the 2010-2011 school year and are wondering if it was granted, please log into your Power School account (not Naviance) and look at the "revised" schedule. If the change is reflected, then the change was granted. If not, or only a part was granted, then the change was not able to be granted due classes being full, there being a conflict, the class not being offered during a designated period or we're waiting on a Department ID or Chair for approval.
