January  2008 HIGHLIGHTS
The LFHS Scholastic Bowl teams are in the midst of a successful season. The Varsity team
in-conference record is 8-1 and the JV record is 6-3. Over the last 5 weeks, the teams have competed in two home meets and one away meet within their conference, plus a weekend tournament at Carmel High School. Scholastic Bowl is an IHSA recognized team for academic competition. Teams of five students play against teams from other schools in matches that include both individual and team questions. If you enjoy trivia, are a good student, and are interested in joining Scholastic Bowl, please contact Mark Kuhl in the social studies department or at mkuhl@d115.org or Andrea Lemke in the mathematics department or at alemke@d115.org. Practices as well as most competitions are Wednesdays after school.
