Students and parents have separate Powerschool and Edline accounts. New students are given their account information as part of the registration process during the summer or at school. Parents of new students are mailed a printed copy of their parent account information after the school year begins.

Parent accounts are not the same as student accounts. The PowerSchool parent account allows parents to sign up to receive emails for grades and attendance so they do not have to log in as often to view this information. Email notification can be sent daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or by request.

If you do not see the email notification icon when you log in this probably means you are signing in as your student with their account information.
