About School Dude
SchoolDude is a nationally recognized provider of online tools designed exclusively for the unique needs of educational facility management professionals. Lake Forest High School District 115 and Lake Forest Elementary School District 67 have entered into a shared agreement to use this broad suite of web-native applications to enhance mangagement of facilities and aide in the provision of maintance and Information Technology support.

District 67 and LFHS staff are encouraged to use Maintenance Direct and IT Direct for the submission of maintenance and technology work orders, respectively.

Maintenance Direct

MaintenanceDirect is a powerful, online work management tool that helps you streamline the entire work order process from request to completion. It improves productivity and efficiency by reducing data entry and phone calls for work requests, improves customer service by automating communication and feedback with requesters and it quickly generates simple and detailed reports on work order status, costs and more. It saves time and money by streamlining workflow It:

Enables requesters to submit work requests and check the status of requests online
Enhanced routing with programmable logic to manage and automate approval and assignment of requests
Allows technicians to receive and complete work assignments online
Records labor and purchase transactions
Enables mobile workers to receive and complete work via a wireless/mobile device through integration with MDWireless (sold separately)
Includes optional MaintenanceDirect Global feature for aggregating individual work order related information into a state level or organization-wide view for analysis and reporting

ITDirect
Help Desk Requests through IT Direct

Computer, phone and AV equipment problems can be reported through ITDirect by staff members. If you are a staff member and you do not know the universal password to submit requests please contact the Technology Help Desk at 847-582-7370 or Help@lfschools.net . You will receive email confirmation and status updates of your request.

AV Equipment Requests through IT Direct :

Requests that are during the school day that are not part of a facilities request in FSDirect* should be requested through IT Direct at least 24 hours in advance. Select 
Event Setup under problem type in step 3 and enter equipment requested and time needed
in step 4.   This includes teacher requests for special equipment in their classroom during
the day.

*Requests for AV equipment for use after school hours and requests that are for spaces reserved through our facilities scheduler during school hours should be requested as part of the facility request in FS Direct.

 NOTE: You will receive the following notifications.

You will be notified of receipt of your request.

You will be notified of request assignment.

You will be notified of status changes to your request.

You will be notified if the request is completed.

You will be notified if this request is declined.


FS Direct

FSDirect is an online facility usage scheduling tool for managing educational facility usage requests, tracking event schedules, and accounting for usage expenses.
