Lake Forest High School Board of Education members, administration and representatives from Perkins & Will and Pepper Construction joined together for a Topping Off Ceremony - each participant signed the last steel beam before it was put in place at the high school. We greatly appreciate the community’s overwhelming support of the LFHS building bond referendum.  The approval of these funds assures that Lake Forest High School will continue to hold its place among the top high schools in the area and the country, and allows us to address significant safety and security concerns.

Our list of thanks is long, it includes the many voters who turned out and provided their support, the VOTE Yes for LFHS Committee whose organization and enthusiasm were vital to spreading the word about the needs of the school, the contributors who funded the campaign, and the hosts and hostesses who opened their homes and invited friends to hear our message. 

The community members who served on the Strategic Planning Committee and Board Committees deserve our thanks for the time they devoted to researching and addressing the needs of the students. The expertise, leadership and dedication of the school administration and staff provided a solid base for the decisions that went into the planning. 

As your elected representatives, we would like to underscore that we are firmly committed to serving you, our community, being good stewards of your tax dollars, and to furthering the tradition of excellence at Lake Forest High School. We thank you for your support!
