Congratulations to the JV Dance Team on the second-place finish in both the JV Pom and JV Jazz divisions at the Chicagoland Dance Championship held at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago on January 12, 2012. The team is coached by Samantha Gavigan.

JV Dance Team Places First in Pom and
Second in Jazz at Milwaukee Dance Championship
December 3, 2011

The Lake Forest High School Varsity Team, led by Coaches Nikki Lazaretto and Candice Davenport,  and Junior Varsity Dance Team, led by Coach Samantha Gavigan,  attended the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Dance Championships in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and won 1st Place in the Poms Division.  In the Jazz Division, Varsity placed 3rd and JV placed 2nd.  JV Dancer Natalie Reinkemeyer won the turning competition.  Next stop:  the Chicagoland Dance Competition at UIC on Saturday, January 21, 2012.

Under the direction of Claire Troller, the LFHS JV Pom/Dance Team won the following awards at the UDA Summer Camp held at ISU from July 27-30: 1st  Place for Home Routine A Routine Full-Out Award B And C Superior Award Spirit Stick All Nights Tied LF Varsity for Leadership Award

Congratulations to the 2010-11 JV Pom Squad! The team placed first in the
JV division for their home routine and a "full-out" award at the UDA Elite Summer Dance Camp, which was held from June 28 - July 1
at Illinois State University.

Elite Camp at ISU--June, 2009

Congratulations to the JV pom squad for their third place finish at the UDA Elite Dance Camp, which was held June 28 - July 1 at ISU. The team also received a "Full Out" award for their performance of a routine taught and performed by all teams attending the camp. Squads are taught advanced routines at an Elite Camp and the JV squad morethan held their own against top teams from a variety of states.
