The nationally-ranked Lake Forest High School Varsity Dance Team attended an ELITE Universal Dance Association Camp in June.  At this camp the team qualified for the Nationals Competition, which will be held at the end of January in Orlando, Florida.  To raise money for this competition, they will be holding their annual carwash on August 30 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm behind Deer Path School.  In addition, they will be conducting a dance clinic at the half-time of the first Varsity Football Game under the lights at the new athletic field located at 300 Waukegan Road, Lake Forest. Participants will learn a pom/dance routine that will be performed at half-time of the Boys’ Varsity Football Game.  Registration is from 4:00 pm - 4:15 pm.  From 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm the dancers will learn the routine, eat pizza, practice, and perform at the game.  The registration fee of $45 also includes a t-shirt, dinner and performance.  Seeing the dancers perform is priceless.  Registration forms can be found at www.lfhs.org or contact ckloss@d115.org or cash@d115.org for more information.
