Tryout Clinics are
Monday April 5, Wednesday April 7,
Tuesday April 13 and Thursday April 15
Each will be at West Campus South Gym
From 4:00-5:30
The clinics will consist of ½ stretch
and conditioning session
followed by an hour of skills practice.
Skills will include but are not limited to
Pom Technique and Placement
Jumps, Turns, Leaps, Kicks, and Tricks
Tryouts are
set for Sunday April 18 at LFHS
East Comp Gym
From about 9 am - 4:00 (specific
times to be determined)
All Eighth Graders and High School Freshmen – Juniors
are Welcome!
Eighth grade students and any Frosh thru
Junior students new to the program must turn in a
completed
liability waiver before trying out. |

The varsity pom squad placed third overall for their home routine at the UDA
Elite Dance Camp, which was held June 28-July 1 at ISU. The team also received
a "Full Out" award for their performance of a routine taught and performed
by all teams attending the camp. In addtion, LF received a superior trophy for
total points earned by the team as a result of the individual performances by
each team member of a variety of routines learned at camp--each of whom received
blue ribbons. Once again the team has qualified for the National Dance Team Championship
in Orlando. Congratulations to all! |
