Head, Boys' Varsity Volleyball
2008 marks Coach Werner's first year as Head Varsity Volleyball coach. He began coaching volleyball at LF in 1998. His coaching experience includes 7 years of Division I and II college baseball, as well as high school, legion and travel baseball. Ray has coached high school and travel basketball for 6 years and all levels of boys' and girls' volleyball for 10 years. He received his Bachelor's degree from Penn State and a Master's from Roosevelt University. Ray is a teacher in the Wellness Department at LFHS.

Joe DeRosa

Assistant, Boys' Varsity Volleyball
2008 marks Coach DeRosa's first year as Assistant Varsity coach. He has been an assistant Freshmen Girls' Volleyball coach at LF since 2006. Prior to coaching volleyball at Lake Forest, he coached boys' and girls' basketball and baseball at Northtown Academy and Gordon Tech High School in Chicago. Joe received his Bachelor's degree in History/Social Sciences from Benedictine University and his MSE from Barat College. Joe is a teacher in the Social Studies Department at LFHS.

Allison Fink

Head, Boys' JV Volleyball
Coach Fink has been Head JV Volleyball coach at LF since 2007. She is also the Assistant Varsity coach in the girls' varsity program. Coach Fink has been coaching volleyball at a variety of levels since 2000. Allison received her BS in Physical Education from the Univ. of Iowa and her teaching certification in Physical Education and Health from Northeastern Illinois University. Currently, Allison teaches Life Skills at Lake Bluff Middle School.

Joe Harmsen

2008 marks Coach Harmsen's first year as Assistant JV Volleyball coach. He has also been Assistant Varsity Boys' Basketball coach at LF since 2000. He received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northwestern University and his Master's in Secondary Education from Concordia. He works at Lake Forest High School in Student Services.

James Matheson

2008 marks Coach Matheson's first year as Head Freshmen coach. He has coached volleyball for 7 years. Jim received his BA in Business Administration from Trinity International University and Master's from Northern Illinois University. He teaches in the Business Education Department at LFHS.

Darren Barndt

Assistant, Boys' Freshmen Volleyball
Coach Barndt has been Assistant Freshmen coach since 2007. At Lake Forest, he has also worked at the Freshmen, Sophomore and Varsity levels as an assistant in the basketball program. He received his Bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University and his Master's From Roosevelt University. Darren teaches in the Technology Department at LFHS.
