State Results: In the 4x800 M Relay, Kyle Brehm, Andrew
Dewar, Alex Bennatan and Tim Bennatan placed 9th in state, earning
a medal and team point. Mike Ellis placed 8th in the 300M intermediate
Hurdles, earning a medal and 2 points for the team.
Friday
night, May 16, at Grayslake Central the Scouts were able to defeat
21 other teams to become champions.

The 4x200M Relay team of Sam Howard, Austin Goldberg, Andrew
Steinwold, and Trenton Moore finished fourth, but broke the school
record with a time of 1:30.94. |
All team members who are not competing or are alternates for the state
meet are reminded to turn in their uniforms to Mrs. Popiel in the athletic
office ASAP.
The boys travel to Grayslake Central for the Sectional
Meet on Friday, May 16. The field events begin at
3:30 and the running at 4:15.
The team banquet will be held on May
21 at Northcroft Park in Lake
Forest. Families should be receiving information by mail.

then in the finals, Mike Ellis breaks it with 14.6.

breaks the school's Frosh/Soph 300M Int Hurdles record with
a 40.7 (previously 41.1).
- Tim Bennatan wins the 800M Run with
a time of 1:56.6.
- The 4x400M relay team runs a 3:24.5, our fastest
time in 10 years, and only .2 away from school record.

Last night at the Lake County Invite,
the LF 4x800 M relay team broke the Lake County record with a time
of 7:55.01, previously held by Barrington from 1999 with a time
of 8:01.5. Our
boy's time was the fastest in the state so far this year. Kyle
Brehm, Andrew Dewar, Alex Bennatan and Tim Bennatan were the foursome. Overall,
the Scouts finished fourth out of 22 teams.

Libertyville Frosh/Soph Invite
Great meet for the Frosh/Soph. The Scouts took third out of the 9
teams and placed 1st in 4 of the 8 running events, including our
4x400 team of Joe Hargitt, Ben Sperry, Andrew Steinwold and Sam Howard
running a 3:38.2, which bests our old F/S record of 3:39.3 from 1972.
