The Scouts finished the regular season with a shutout.  The defense stayed strong the entire game with no goals allowed.

The Scouts bounced back from a rough 3-game span with a victory over Lake Zurich. Solid defense and a revived offense were key to the victory

Lake Forest 4 - Glenbrook South 3 (OT)

With their third game in as many days, the Scouts pulled out an overtime victory against GBS.  The first half ended with the Scouts up 3 - 1. GBS added 2 goals in the third to tie the game up.  The fourth was a defensive struggle with no goals scored.  Fontana came up with some big saves coupled with a strong defense to end the game tied 3- 3 in regulation.  Keith Davis came up with the OT goal to put the game away.

Lake Forest 3 - Loyola 4

The Scouts had their first loss of the season Friday night.  Loyola jumped out to a 3 - 0 lead in the first half.  The second half started with 2 Scouts' goals to cut the lead to 1.  Loyola added another goal in the fourth, and the Scouts matched it to be down 4 - 3.  With multiple shots in the last 2 minutes of the game, Loyola held Lake Forest off, and the Scouts went home with a loss.

Lake Forest 8 - Mundelein 2

The Scouts got their fourth win of the season with an 8 to 2 victory. The Scouts played a good game--winning all 4 quarters.  Their solid defense held Mundelein to 2 goals with Fontana coming up with a second-half shut out.

Lake Forest 4 - Glenbrook North 3

The Scouts fought hard on Monday night against a solid Glenbrook North squad to come away with a 1-point victory.  The Scouts possessed the ball well and were able to hold on to their 1-point lead.

Lake Forest 5 - Lyons Township 2

The Scouts got their second win of the season with a 5 - 2 victory over visiting Lyons Township.  The Scouts led the entire game with 1 goal in the first, 2 in the second, and 2 more in the fourth.  The Scouts also had another solid defensive performance allowing only 2 goals.

Assists:  Davis - 1, Kitchel - 1, Oberheide - 2, Lincoln - 1

Lake Forest 2 - Vernon Hills 1

The Scouts got their first win of the season edging Vernon Hills 2 to 1. The Scouts controlled the ball well and had plenty opportunities, but could manage only 2 goals.  Frank Dann was the lone scorer for the Scouts with 2 goals.  Jordan Fontana had a great day in the net, coupled with a solid defensive performance, to hold Vernon Hills to one goal.
